InkPoster x Imperial War Museums (IWM) – Keep Calm, History Lives On

At InkPoster, we believe art carries memory, emotion, and history across generations.

IWM’s collections stand as one of the world’s most significant and comprehensive of its kind;  uniquely positioned to tell the story of people who have lived, fought and died in conflicts involving Britain and the Commonwealth since the First World War.

That’s why, in a special 18-month collaboration, we’re curating and sharing 24 iconic posters from IWM’s collections. Each one is a piece of living history – crafted in moments that shaped the world, and now ready to live in your own space.

Imagine history on your wall – iconic posters that once moved nations. There’s the timeless “Keep Calm and Carry On,” created in 1939 but hidden away for decades before it was rediscovered by chance in 2000 by a small bookshop – and has since become recognized the world over.

Alongside it, the commanding “I Want YOU for U.S. Army” and Churchill’s “V for Victory” remind us how posters can inspire courage and resolve.

Great art tells stories and we’ve brought together 24 posters that have a lot to say.
