The World’s Two Largest Color ePaper Art Posters at IFA 2026

At IFA 2026, InkPoster will showcase the world’s two largest color ePaper art frames ever created: Duna, designed by the iconic Pininfarina studio, and Tela 40.5”. Both feature A1-sized screens and will make their European tech-show debut ahead of their upcoming market launch.

Their glare-free color ePaper displays bring the natural, paper-like character of analog art to a digital format, while cordless operation and up to a year of battery life give the artwork freedom to go where traditional screens cannot. A curated gallery of artworks completes the experience, allowing the art – rather than the technology – to take center stage.

Duna with an A1 screen and Tela 40.5” will be joined by Tela 28.5”, Affresco 31.5”, and Affresco 13.3”, bringing together the widest range of color ePaper art poster sizes and formats available on the market. Developed by PocketBook, InkPoster draws on nearly two decades of ePaper expertise to build a lineup suited to different spaces and scales.

Paper-like screen with true-to-art color rendering. At the heart of InkPoster is E Ink Spectra 6, a color ePaper technology that displays images using reflective light rather than the glow of a traditional LCD screen. Millions of tiny microcapsules form each image, allowing the artwork to take on the soft, paper-like appearance of a printed piece without backlight, flicker, or screen glare. Because the display uses ambient light, the artwork remains clear in bright surroundings and naturally becomes less visible as the room gets darker, without emitting artificial light.

InkPoster’s dedicated rendering system further adapts each image to ePaper, carefully balancing brightness, contrast, and tonal depth to preserve the character of the original artwork. It is a digital display designed to behave less like a screen and more like art on paper – a distinctly calm tech approach.

Up to a year of battery life. No cable in sight. InkPoster runs for up to a year on a single charge, giving digital art the freedom to be placed wherever it belongs – without requiring a power outlet nearby. Once charged via USB-C, the cable can be removed, leaving no visible wire to interfere with the composition of the room. This cordless design makes it possible to place artwork on walls where a conventional screen or Art TV would be difficult to install without planning around the location of a power outlet. Through the InkPoster App, users can explore nearly 2,000 licensed artworks selected by art experts, from classical masterpieces and modern works to vintage posters. Personal images can be added just as easily from the camera roll, making the display as personal as the space around it. A single tap can shift the mood of a room by changing the artwork, whether from across the room or from somewhere else entirely. The app gives users remote control over their InkPoster, making it simple to update the display whenever the atmosphere calls for something different.

• Duna is the result of a collaboration between InkPoster and Pininfarina, translating the Italian design house’s automotive heritage into a new medium for digital art. Its A1-sized E Ink Spectra 6 display is paired with Sharp IGZO technology for faster image updates, while the sculptural frame introduces a gently curved, fluid passe-partout inspired by the movement of a dune. The design brings together cool milled aluminium and warm Alcantara, available in Light, Dark, and Brown to give each version its own character.
• Tela 40.5” brings InkPoster’s minimalist Tela look to A1 format, designed for artworks that demand presence. Its E Ink Spectra 6 screen with Sharp IGZO technology combines generous proportions with InkPoster’s high-contrast rendering approach, giving large-scale artworks natural color depth without glow or glare.
