InkPoster at Basel Art Week: A New Way to Present Digital Art

Basel Art Week 2026 will see InkPoster join SURVIVAL RITUALS exhibition, where selected artworks will be displayed using color ePaper technology. Unlike traditional displays, InkPoster presents digital art on a paper-like surface that remains glare-free and visually unobtrusive, creating a viewing experience that feels closer to encountering a print than a screen.

From June 15-21, SURVIVAL RITUALS will transform Basel Art Center into a meeting point for artists exploring vulnerability, transformation, technology, and belonging through a wide range of artistic media. Come and see how InkPoster contributes to this conversation through the ePaper display designed specifically for art.

SURVIVAL RITUALS at Basel Art Week

SURVIVAL RITUALS, presented by Basel Art Center, TUASHO Agency, and Rukh Art Hub, opens during Basel Art Week 2026 as a large-scale international exhibition featuring 29 artists from across Europe and the United States. From 15 to 21 June, Basel becomes a space for practices that explore life in suspension – between what is ending and what is still forming.

Each work functions as an individual ritual, a contained response to instability. Together they form a constellation of perspectives rather than a linear narrative, creating a shared space where meaning settles without resolution. What emerges is not escape, but a way of remaining present within the in-between.

A Display Created for Art

InkPoster was created around a simple idea: digital art should feel at home in galleries, interiors, and curated spaces. Rather than behaving like a conventional screen, it presents artworks on a paper-like color ePaper surface that allows the work itself to remain the focus.

  • Paper-like appearance: color ePaper feels closer to a print than a traditional screen, with soft colors and a glare-free finish.
  • Placement without limits: cordless design allows artworks to be placed where they work best, without being dictated by power outlets.
  • Built for long-term display: power is consumed only when the image updates, allowing artworks to remain visible for up to a year.
  • Art before technology: no glow, no flicker, no noise, and no heat. The display is designed to recede into the background, allowing attention to remain on the artwork rather than the device presenting it.
  • Art that can change instantly: thousands of curated works can be accessed and changed in moments, opening new possibilities for exhibitions and interiors.
